Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce Québec (SCCCQ): In two sentences, please describe your company, including your professional activities.

Frédéric Le Bouar: Croesus provides innovative, high-performance, and secure wealth management solutions, including portfolio management systems, portfolio rebalancing tools, and application programming interfaces (APIs).

SCCCQ: Could you explain your connection to Switzerland or your interest in this country?

Frédéric Le Bouar: Following a 3-year market research study with two major consulting firms specializing in wealth management in Europe, we selected Switzerland as the first country for Croesus’ expansion in Europe (over 3 other national markets). This decision was made because the characteristics of the Swiss market were the most symbiotic with our Canadian experience, particularly the high standards of wealth management firms.

SCCCQ: What reasons led you to get involved with the CCCSQ?

Frédéric Le Bouar: In our Swiss marketing strategy, we wanted to build business relationships with stakeholders who could help us better understand the subtleties of this market and connect us with other resources during our journey. The choice of the CCCSQ became obvious.

SCCCQ: What sets you apart from others in your field?

Frédéric Le Bouar: Croesus is the largest vendor of wealth management solutions in Canada and one of the top 10 globally. Our history has been positively influenced by the fact that we have several major Canadian banks among our clients since our founding. Our ability to serve highly demanding financial institutions sets us apart from our competitors.

SCCCQ: What is the best advice you have received in business?

Frédéric Le Bouar: To listen to our clients (decision-makers and users) to improve our products day after day.

SCCCQ: What are you looking for in your relationship with the CCCSQ?

Frédéric Le Bouar: We seek explanations on the subtleties of doing business in Switzerland, a better understanding of how to build business relationships with Swiss clients and stakeholders, and connections with individuals who might be interested in hearing from us.

SCCCQ: How would you like members to remember you?

Frédéric Le Bouar: As a Canadian company that has invested heavily in research leading to the selection of Switzerland as the first country for Croesus’ expansion in Europe and is determined to succeed in this country.
