15 Jan Croesus and Arbre-Évolution united for a greener future
Montréal, Quebec, January 15, 2021 – Croesus is proud to announce that 1,250 plants have been planted as part of its partnership with the Arbre-Évolution cooperative.
Launched in July 2020, the initiative is highly supported by Croesus employees who have a direct impact on the annual amount donated to the cooperative’s social reforestation program. Indeed, each project delivery at Croesus results in a number of points that varies from 1 to 13, depending on the project’s complexity, and for every 18 points, a tree is planted.
To date, Croesus’s financial contribution has enabled five reforestation projects to be carried out in the cities of Saint-Lambert, Trois-Pistoles, Cap-Rouge, Otterburn Park, and Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu.
“First of all, I would like to congratulate Arbre-Évolution which, despite the many challenges posed by the pandemic, has managed to ensure the continuity and success of its various reforestation projects. I would also like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of our employees over the past year. These 1,250 plants represent more than 22,500 points achieved,” said Sylvain Simpson, president of Croesus.
