05 Feb Gemini’s 2018 Annual Fundraising Event, a resounding success for Laval families
Montréal (Québec), February 5, 2019 – The Gemini Foundation’s 25th anniversary was celebrated on November 28, 2018 during a fundraising evening at the Le Mirage Golf Club. The successful event raised a record amount of $188 000 to support low-income families from the Laval area.
Rémy Therrien, Croesus Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board, acted as this year’s Honorary Chairman of the Omnium Maurice Dupont. Since 1993, this golf tournament has been one of the most significant fundraising events contributing to the realization of the Gemini Foundation’s projects. Approximately 144 golfers and 40 cyclists gather each year to contribute generously to this worthy cause.
This year’s event took on a different format due to severe weather that had an impact day’s events. Determined to fulfill their annual mission, the organizers postponed the event to the end of November. Croesus also contributed to the success of the fundraising initiatives by inviting Croesus Fintour members from Montréal to participate in the Omnium Maurice Dupont.
