Montréal, Québec, Canada – February 14, 2022

Croesus is proud to participate in the success of the 35^th stock market simulation competition, the 2022 Bourstad Challenge, which will take place over the next two months across Canada.

From February 14 to April 14, 2022, participants in the 2022 Bourstad Challenge will manage a virtual portfolio of $200,000 to be invested in securities on the stock market. The competition brings together participants from high schools, CEGEPs, universities, and the general public.

Participants will compete in one of three categories: financial performance, portfolio management, and responsible investing. The jury will award nearly $30,000 in scholarships at the awards ceremony in May 2022. One of the participants will also win a three-month paid internship at Croesus.

The Bourstad program is an initiative of the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en analyse des organisations (CIRANO), which promotes and supports financial education. In 2020–2021, the program reached over 10,000 participants, including nearly 3,000 in the 2021 Bourstad Challenge.
