Our management team

Rémy Therrien, President and Chief Executive Officer

Rémy graduated from Laval University in Quebec City with a Bachelor’s in Physical Engineering. While in university, Rémy conceived several management systems for various industries, serving as the foundation to his later development of a comprehensive Portfolio Management System. Following graduation Rémy worked as a Systems Engineer and as a Computer Engineer, further developing his skills and knowledge in management systems.

In 1987 Rémy founded Croesus (previously known as Unigiciel). He developed the first version of the CROESUS Portfolio Management Solution, which is now one of the leading software on the market. Over the years, Rémy has acquired a sound knowledge and experience in conceiving, developing and market launching business solutions for the financial industry. Remy is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers.

Denys L’Archevêque, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Denys is a certified professional purchaser with over 30 years of experience in business management, including 15 years in human resources management. He has worked mainly in public administration and currently manages Croesus operations, business processes and oversees several departments within the organization. Denys is a member of various associations, including the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC).

Guy Sirois, Vice President Sales, Marketing & Corporate Affairs

Guy has served as the Corporate Legal Advisor for Croesus since 1997. In 2008, in addition to his legal duties, Guy was appointed as the head of Sales, Marketing and Corporate Affairs. As a Business Lawyer in private practice for over 25 years, Guy is specialized in business reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions. Guy holds a Law Degree from the Montreal University and is a Registered Trademark Agent. Guy was called to the Quebec Bar in 1984. He is also a frequent lecturer in corporate law and teaches business law at the Quebec Bar School.

Jacques Gélinas, Vice President Integration

With over 30 years of experience in software development and operating systems along with 20 years as a major contributor to the Linux Project, Jacques now coordinates ASP services at Croesus and manages the integration team. Jacques graduated from the École Polytechnique affiliated to the Montreal University with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Sylvain Simpson, Vice President Technology and R & D

Sylvain is a co-creator of the first CROESUS platform having been with the company from the early stages. With over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry and a Degree in Computer Science from ETS in Montreal, Sylvain has pioneered a number of software for various industries including interior design. Today, Sylvain specializes in R & D innovations for the financial technology industry and insures the sound development of the CROESUS software.

David Mastroberardino, Product Manager

With over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, David is a key member of the Croesus product development team. Working with a team of analysts, David is responsible for the design and implementation of innovations and key features of the CROESUS application. David graduated with distinction from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce having majored in finance. He is also a CFA charter holder and holds a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM). David is a member of the Montreal CFA Society and participates in its Mentorship Program.
